Luckily Clay is fortunate enough to have most, if not all, of his medical bills covered by insurance. Sadly, insurance doesn't cover the expenses that result from having to be away from home to tend to a sick child.
Over the next 6 months the Ortega family will be traveling back and forth from the hospital to their home, and staying at the hospital for periods of time. Clay's father supports his entire family with his income, and will undoubtedly miss numerous days of work due to Clay’s sickness.
